I passed this man every day so one day, I took Selia with me and I interviewed him. He said he sells about 25 grams of yams a day and he charges about 8 yuan a gram so that equates to 200 yuan a day ($33) which seems exceedingly high. Construction workers make only $20/day so maybe he didnt understand the question or maybe he didnt want me to know how much he made.
